Oh WOW, I still can not believe my eyes! I’d heard a lot about East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens  but it wasn’t until I saw it myself could I believe the colours, landscaping and variation of plants the garden have to offer – such a delicious visual treat.

They don’t usually hire out their gardens for weddings but made an exception for James and Alaine’s weekday wedding. What was lovely was they were given so much flexibility and so were able to marry outside using the gardens as the backdrop. Friends serenaded Alaine and James, whilst others led the beautiful service. Bubbles fell over the couple instead of confetti which lead to a gentle and graceful moment for the newly Mr + Mrs Knight.

Alaine’s walk to James took her and her bridesmaids time through the twists and turns of the abundant and exotic foliage. It was easy to forget we were in deepest Norfolk countryside.

The speeches were done by candlelight (and mobile phone light!) and couple shots were taken both during the glorious golden hour and also under the full moon. This might have been one of my top most special moments – exploring this incredible garden, with two super people, under a full moon and a sheet of stars.

Here’s to Team Knight! Have a wonderful life together James and Alaine. x
