The season for me has begun and if Bex and John’s wedding celebration is anything to go by it’s going to be one corker of a year – I cannot wait!

Bex and John married and celebrated at Sussex Barn in Burnham Market, Norfolk on Easter weekend. The great thing about Sussex Barn is that you hire it for a couple of days, which means you have time to decorate it, making it your own. Bex and John’s friends and family came together the day before to style the room, and add all the gorgeous touches that reflected the couple’s personality to the space, including the flowers that lined the doorways and adorned the tables.

Sussex Barn sits within acres of fields and next to a stunning derelict house and woodland. We used the time allowed for the couple shots to wander around and explore, stopping for photographs as we came across the right spots. For a Saturday at the start of April we couldn’t have wished for better weather. The sun shone down on us as Bex and John laughed together, taking the opportunity of being alone (well almost alone, as I was there), to celebrate becoming Mr + Mrs – they could not stop beaming!

Their wedding day ended wonderfully, as everyone took to the floor to dance, spin and twirl to a fantastic Norwich-based band.

A big thank you goes to the ultra talented Rob Dodsworth who acted as my second photographer.
