As a mum, daughter, sister and proud auntie, I understand how fleeting the times with our families are. Our children grow at a rate that seems to defy time, our busy lives mean that even despite our best intentions, we don’t document our time together, and our memories – however sharp – can never recall the same level of detail.
Family photography allows us to reminisce in full colour; how different their wisps of hair looked, how red their cheeks, how warm our smiles… It creates a time capsule of our connections.
It doesn’t mean that you all need to be suited and booted, shirts ironed and shoes polished either – a family photo shoot should be as relaxed as you usually are with each other. The photos I produce are full of colour, honesty, and personality and most of all, will bring you joy for years to come.

Giving your baby a bath, sitting together over brunch, putting socks on little feet in the morning. Tiny family moments sometimes make for the most touching and precious family photographs.
Making sure you’re at ease while I’m around is really important to me. I don’t give instructions or construct images. This isn’t like a studio portrait shoot – instead, I potter about, observing from afar and laughing along with you.
That being said, where guidance is wanted or needed, I can help direct you in the best way to stand or interact, but far from heavy.
Nothing is better than a broad smile and lots of laughter, especially from the children of the family, but we want to capture that authentically, and don’t worry, I have some tricks up my sleeve to get those big grins out of the kids.
Having said that, some of the most striking photos have come from capturing the lip wobbles and tears. It’s about telling your story as naturally and beautifully as I can.
