I’m so proud to be involved in the online Toy Like Me campaign calling on the global toy industry to positivley represent disabilty in the toy box and help kids grow up with a better attitude to human difference! Over the last couple of months I’ve been taking photographs of toys which have been made-over to give them disabilites to show the toy makers how it can be done!

Co-founder, Rebecca Atkinson asked me to take a series of head shots of her for publicity purposes. Over the course of the campaign she has appeared on national television and written for national and international press about the need for diverse toys.

The #ToyLikeMe campaign has been a huge success and Playmobil have recently agreed to produce a range of characters with disabilities inspired by # ToyLikeMe. But there is still more to be done. You can show your support by signing this petition asking Lego to positively represent disability in their products or drop in to facebook.com/toylikme.

Thank you for your support.
