One of the joys of my job is being invited to attend and photograph family celebrations. Christenings, like weddings, bring the family together and nothing beats the joy of a new baby! And this one was double the fun because two babies were being christened!

The ceremony took place in a Norfolk church within walking distance from the grandparents’ house were everyone gathered for a glass of bubbly and lunch beforehand. Whilst the adults tucked into their food, and took it in turns to meet the new babies, the children ran and explored, hiding in the undergrowth, and had fun blowing bubbles. My job was to capture all the smiles, warmth and merriment on camera!

Later we made our way to the church, the children in their best clothes and babies in their Christening gowns. The ceremony took place around the font, surrounded by the two families with the smaller members standing next to (and on!) the font to get the best view.
