Last month saw the return of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival, an event that I count the days down to. It injects a burst of high quality culture into our fine city and never fails to impress me. This year saw the first It’s Your Festival, a day long event showcasing the best of local talent throughout the city centre including the famous Spiegeltent Tent, Chapelfields Gardens bandstand and outside The Forum.
I had the pleasure of documenting it on behalf of the festival. Performances included a samba band, a youth acrobatics group, a folk band, comedy and much, much more. I think it was a great ending to another fantastic festival, here’s hoping they hold It’s Your Festival again next year.
