Heather was brought up in a gorgeous thatched cottage in the middle of the Norfolk countryside. Her parental home has a large garden encompassing an orchard, chickens, a horse and a vegetables patch that would make any belly rumble, offering it as a perfect and most personal backdrop for Heather and Troy’s wedding. The whole day was meticulously planned and styled by the couple themselves and with the help of friends and family they were able to design and realise their dream wedding.

Troy, waiting with his best man and an old friend doubling up as their ‘Reverend’ at the bottom of a purpose built, grassy mound watched as Heather arrived on a cart pulled by her childhood horse with flowers tied through her mane. The beautiful ceremony, in which Troy surprised us with a harmonica performance,  was followed by the couple “jumping the broom”! The day was filled with home made cake, some super personal details such as the most incredible signs painted by their very talented neighbour, freshly cut flowers from the garden, a tea tent, log fire, hay bales and a Céilidh. The couples’ first dance was outside whilst being serenaded by friends under the stars.

A special thanks goes to my second shooter Boo Marshall.
