Questions and answers

DO YOU TAKE ‘POSED’ SHOTS OF THE FAMILY LOOKING INTO THE LENS?

01

Of course! My style is to take family shots of you together or individually doing your thing and being in the moment but I do understand the importance of a more formal photo of you all together.

SHOULD I HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?

02

My packages are based on only me photographing your wedding which works really well and I have no problem capturing all the key moments and fun. However, having a second shooter join me on the day does come with benefits. I can’t be in two places at once and whilst I’m photographing the bridal preparations, a second shooter could be photographing all the fun the groom is having with his friends and ushers. They could also capture events from different angles such as the exchange of vows which could be shot from both the back of the church and the front to capture your friends and family’s reactions.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?!

03

If the weather isn’t kind to us, the group shots will be photographed inside. Unfortunately because of space restrictions indoors I may have to keep each group to a maximum of 8 people. I’d also recommended you pack wellington boots, an umbrella and something that will keep you warm as I’d love to take your couple shots outside if possible, you can’t beat natural light!

CHURCHES AND REGISTRY OFFICES

04

Sometimes churches and registry offices are limited by rules imposed by registrars and ministers as to what can and cannot be done. For example some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that I shoot from a specific location or not at all. For the best results I like to stand between the couple and the minister. I would recommend that you make yourself aware of the rules of the venue concerned beforehand and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?

05

Yes, the first 20 miles is included and then it is 45p p/m thereafter. If you book A Day in Your Life Shoot and you are an hour from Norwich accommodation expenses may be added.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EDIT THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

06

I always try to get you your images as soon as possible however in busier times it can take up to five weeks.
