Cor, have you see the leaves on the trees at the moment? They are utterly stunning and make the perfect backdrop for a family photo shoot! Last Sunday I met with Helen’s family for their mini shoot at a Norfolk nature reserve, just outside of Norwich. I’ve just started running 30 minute mini shoots as I’ve found it’s a good package to offer people with little children who may normally find it harder to focus through a longer session . I have also priced them to be more affordable at £100, hopefully making it something people would be interested in doing on a more regular basis to document their family grow over time.

Within the session I try to capture a mix of group shots; family all together, each parent with the kids and some of the children on their own. I also like to get as many spontaneous moments I can, as I think it’s those moments that are particularly full of personality and you get a real sense of the person.

What you don’t see in these photos is me behind the camera blowing raspberries, bouncing around and being silly, which as it turns out I find comes quite naturally! This is all to help your children giggle, and hopefully make people feel more relaxed. I will be running another one of these sessions on Sunday 18th November (I have one space still available if you’re interested) and more in the new year.
