Bea and Javi’s creative Norwich City Wedding

I shot Bea and Javi’s stunning Norwich city wedding at the end of summer last year.  The whole wedding took place within walking distance of where Bea grew up.

A fun and relaxed couple, Bea and Javi wanted to have a day to celebrate their love and to also spoil their family and friends with lots of amazing food and drink. Bea is extremely creative and had designed and made the majority, if not all, of the details for the wedding with help from her mum and a great group of friends. This included the bride and bridemaids bouquets, button holes, her own WEDDING DRESS! (which included elements of her great grandmother’s dress), table decorations, napkins and signage. She also styled all the bridemaids hair, her own hair and make up on the morning of the wedding and somehow remained ultra chilled.

Where did the wedding celebrations take place?

Bea got ready at the beautiful 38 St Giles Boutique Hotel a short drive away from where they married – at St George, Tombland Church which is neatly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tombland, a busy Norwich restaurant spot. After the ceremony and in the warmth of the September sun, friends and family were lead by groomsmen holding flags a short walk through the city to the Plantation Gardens for a glass of fizz and delicious nibbles by Carway Roe Events.  I joined Bea and Javi in their friend’s Bentley taking us in advance to the Plantation Gardens for a few shots alone whilst my awesome second shooter for the day Georgia Rachel walked with their guests and photographed them along the way.

This Norwich city wedding was so much fun to photograph, the energy from Bea, Javi and their guests was off the charts. I loved how they ran up and down the tables high-fiving their guests before sitting down to eat. I loved how the summer light fell on us and we caught a beautiful Golden Hour for a second round of couple shots and I loved witnessing how in love Bea and Javi are. A wonderful wedding day, which had so many beautiful wedding details and moments to capture.
