Jess and Sara booked me for one of my shorter packages for their beautiful and intimate wedding at The Assembly House, Norwich.  I love that they decided to get ready together in the Bridal Suite. Situated just across the court yard from the Music Room in which they would say their vows. There is something wonderful about being able to share the build up and excitement with your loved one and I really enjoyed sharing it with them.
The bathroom in the bridal suite is a particularly lovely and is so big you could hold a little party inside. I had a feeling Jess and Sara might have been planning just that as their footed bath was full of beer – cooling, ready for something…..! Walking over together to the main building, Sara and Jess held hands as they walked down the aisle. This was so beautiful and touching and their beaming smiles said it all! During their vows, a sun beam fell on them from the window above like a spotlight, illuminating and warming them.
We opted for some couple shots around the near area. I thought I knew this area so well but what i’ve realised is that if you properly look there are so many lovely spots for photos that you may never have noticed. Sara and Jess were keen to use a smoke bomb during one of the shots, which we chose to do in the garden behind The Assembly House. I love how the white smoke catches the spiky leaves of the plants behind them and highlights the texture. I left Sara, Jess and their families tucking in to a delicious meal, before the official part of their wedding came to an end. Word is the party continued in their bridal suite, where films were watched whilst tucking into takeaway pizza and the bath-cooled beer!
