As a parent I use the start of the year to make plans for my family. It usually involves booking our family holiday for later in the year, planning any adjustments that may need to be done to our house that we need to save for and book our own family photo shoot!
I've always thought it's so important that I don't just talk the talk I make sure my own family gets precious photographs to adorn our walls. It's also a good reminder to what it feels like to be in front of the lens!
We've booked our family shoot with Norfolk photographer Mim Howell in March. I chose that month as I like the crisp bright light that often comes then. We've been talking about timing it around the golden hour, when the sun is low and the light is warm. I can't wait to show you the results!
